Interoperability

Seamlessly connect EHRs, EMRs, and other healthcare systems using modern standards like FHIR and HL7.

Data trapped in silos undermines care coordination, analytics, and patient experience. Intuware Technologies designs and implements interoperability solutions using FHIR, HL7 v2, CDA, and other standards so that data flows securely and reliably between EHRs, payers, labs, and partners.

What we offer

  • FHIR R4 and US Core API design and implementation
  • HL7 v2 and CDA interface design and mapping
  • Health information exchange and network participation
  • Integration architecture and data quality assurance

FHIR & Modern APIs

We build and integrate FHIR R4 (and US Core) APIs for read/write access to clinical and administrative data. This includes FHIR servers, SMART on FHIR apps, bulk data (Bulk FHIR), and alignment with USCDI and Cures Act requirements. We help you expose or consume FHIR in a way that is standards-compliant and maintainable.

HL7 v2, CDA & Legacy Interfaces

Many organizations still rely on HL7 v2, CDA, and proprietary interfaces. We design and implement interfaces, transformation layers, and integration hubs that bridge legacy and modern APIs. We map messages, handle acknowledgments, and ensure data quality so that legacy and FHIR-era systems coexist and eventually converge.

Health Information Exchange (HIE)

Whether you participate in a regional HIE, a national network, or direct exchange, we help you connect. We work with Carequality, CommonWell, Direct, and vendor-specific exchange patterns. We support identity, consent, and governance so that sharing is secure, compliant, and aligned with organizational policy.
